Geoff urges Tweed local to “Catch their Breath” on Wednesday
The Tweed will mark World Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Day with a walk from K-Mart at Tweed City Shopping Centre at 10AM on Wednesday morning (18/11), and Tweed Nationals MP Geoff Provest is urging locals to come along and show their support.
“COPD is Australia's fifth biggest killer but does not get the recognition other better known diseases do, so this is a great chance to come along with me and show you care,” Mr Provest said.
“The theme of the walk is 'Catch your breath' and the local event is being organised by the fine people from TWEEDALS – that's Tweed Airway Limitation Support.”
